Youth Girls AFL
Youth girls AFL is BOOMING all over the country, as more and more girls of all ages are playing and enjoying they’re footy. We at Miranda are just so happy and excited to see the growth and development in our youth girl teams.
All ages and skills are catered for and we definitely put the emphasis on fun, friendship and inclusion at the Bombers, there really is is a great social aspect that goes along with footy at our club.
We currently offer youth girls footy in four out of five age groups…
U10YG, U12YG, U14YG and U16YG… More than likely 2024 will see us field an U17YG team.

U10YG – Based in our South Sydney region. We play local teams on age appropriate field sizes. Still non comp/development focused with modified tackling and rules.
U12YG – We join Sydney Harbour competition (Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Sydney South). Competition/Ladder is introduced along with with finals. Reduced field size, along with modified rules and modified tackling.
U14YG – Sydney Harbour divisionalised/graded competition. AFL rules on a reduced field size.
U16/17YG – Sydney Harbour divisionalised/graded competition. AFL rules on a full sized field.

The Miranda Bombers are a junior Australian Rules football club, located in the Sutherland Shire NSW. Our home ground and club house is situated at Lincoln Oval (Waratah Oval No. 4) Rawson Avenue, Sutherland.
